January 10, 2010 | In: upcoming cars
My fiance gave me only one task for our upcoming wedding. That task is to pick our wedding song. She and I have very similar tastes in music and I would like that to be reflected in our first dance. I have already come up with a short list. Please help me expand it.
Here are some of the bands and songs Ive already thought of!
Sum 41 – With Me
Lifehouse – You and Me, Everything, Hangin by a Moment
Matchbook Romance
“Good Morning Beautiful ”
DashboardConfessional
Seconhand Serenade – Vulnerable
Snow Patrol – Chasing Cars
The Starting Line
Blue October – Calling You
The Beatles – I Will
Painting By Chagall – The Weepies
Red Jumpsuit – Your Guardian Angel
Tom Waits – Picture In a Frame

You and Me ~ Lifehouse
Most definitely! I have always thought that this song was very fitting for a wedding. I get a picture in my head every time I hear it. When I hear the lyrics – There is you and me and all of the people…I don’t know why I can’t take my eyes off of you. It makes me think of a bride and groom dancing on their wedding day. There is a room full of people but the groom just doesn’t notice because he is mesmorized by his bride’s beauty! Perfect song!!!
Congratulations :0)

owen duff – any captain worth his due (“any captain worth his due knows with a crew like you he’s on a voyage that cannot fail”)
the silver seas – we’ll go walking (a song about two lovers walking in the rain in autumn – this song is in 3/4, it might be easier to dance to)
the wannadies – you and me sing (this song is sort of slow, then the chorus rocks) this song is from the romeo + juliet soundtrack
I wouldn’t do I Will . . it doesn’t exactly fit to me. I’m not sure about the others cause I haven’t heard most of them.
